TODAYS STEP BY STEP IS THE STEPS TO CREATE A MINI-BOT THAT CREATES :
"EMAIL SUBJECT LINES"
Note- You may need an OpenAi API key to make any bot work- see below to get your now.
- Install Python & OpenAI library
– Install Python 3.9+
– Run: pip install openai
2. Create a file
– Make email_subject_bot.py
– Paste the Python code the AI gives you.
2b. Give this prompt to whatever AI LLM model you prefer, I would suggest "ChatGPT" for this excercise....-
Prompt:
“Write a very simple Python script that asks the user to describe a product or promotion, then uses the OpenAI API to generate 5 catchy email subject lines. Use the openai library (new client syntax) and keep the code beginner-friendly so it can run as python email_subject_bot.py.”
3. Once the Ai gives you the .py file and you named it: " email_subject_bot.py ", Place it into the folder you created in step 2.
BONUS: another good thing about using ChatGPT- it will give you the rest of the instructions once it gives you the .py file.
4. Run it-
– Terminal: python email_subject_bot.py
– Type what you’re promoting → get 5 subject lines back
5. (optional)- Package as whats called an ".exe" file. This means "executable". This will allow you to click the .exe file and run the bot whenever you like without commands.
To get an .exe file:
– pip install pyinstaller
– pyinstaller --onefile --windowed email_subject_bot.py
